CHRISTINA GAGNIER is a third-year law student at the University of San Francisco and serves as the IPLB’s Symposiums Editor. Christina holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from UC Irvine and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Christina specializes in Cyberspace Law and Constitutional Law, serving as a research assistant to Lawrence Lessig, working on Code 2.0 and a forthcoming publication. Gagnier is also a partner in the firm Gagnier Margossian, a public affairs and political communications consulting group. ERIK SMITH is a second-year law student at the University of San Francisco and serves as the President for the Intellectual Property and Cyberspace Law Association. Erik holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.  A former design engineer and IT consultant focusing on Network and Information Security, Erik is primarily interested in Patents. Erik has accepted a 2008 Summer Associate position with Perkins Coie in the Silicon Valley. ANDREA REYNA is a second-year law student at the University of San Francisco and serves as the Treasurer for the Intellectual Property and Cyberspace Law Association. Andrea holds a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Society from UC Berkeley. Andrea is primarily interested in Copyrights, Trademarks, and Entertainment Law. Prior to coming to USF, Andrea was a case clerk at Donahue Gallagher Wood  LLP in Oakland, primarily working on copyright infringement cases. Andrea gained further IP experience this past summer with the firm, preparing research memorandums for Carlos Santana and Autodesk.
AMY MORGANSTERN is a third-year law student at the University of San Francisco and serves as the PR Coordinator for the Intellectual Property and Cyberspace Law Association. Originally from New Jersey, Amy holds a B.A. in English from Barnard College, Columbia University. Amy focuses on Intellectual Property and Privacy Law issues. Past internships have included the Electronic Frontier Foundation and California Lawyers for the Arts. Amy has accepted an offer from Gunderson Dettmer following graduation. ATHENA JOHNS is a second-year law student at the University of San Francisco School of Law and serves as the IPLB’s Senior Articles Editor. Athena holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of the Pacific. Prior to attending law school, Athena provided acoustical consulting services at the engineering firm of Smith, Fause, & McDonald, Inc. Her interests are in Patent and Cyberspace Law. Last summer, Athena acquired patent prosecution experience as an intern at the firm Fernandez & Associates, LLP.
